Making coffee is a family affair.
The idea for starting a coffee shop of their own started one year when Elizabeth purchased a small home coffee roaster for Justo and before you know it, a passion was developed. They started in the yellow green farmers market along with the help of my younger brother Timothy. Soon after the whole family joined the Kay Rico Coffee team.
About Our Story
Kay Rico Coffee, established in 2014, holds the distinction of being Hollywood's premier family-owned and operated coffeehouse. Our humble beginnings can be traced back to the renowned Yellow-Green Farmer's Market on Taft Street, where we rapidly gained popularity and attracted a discerning clientele that exceeded our expectations.
In the years that followed, we expanded our presence by launching a store at the heart of Hollywood, and in 2018, adding another location at the Wave Condominium on Ocean Drive.
Our venues not only showcase live music and host special events, but also continue to offer our signature coffee creations that made us a local favorite. We take pride in serving a diverse range of delectable, made-to-order meals and snacks, all thoughtfully crafted to please the palate.

There's plenty of parking in the back so you don't have to worry about parallel parking in a busy street! And if you go often enough, you get a punch card for rewards.
